Ok. So I have never blogged before, and for a long time was very against it. Guess I just thought it was kind of lame, and why not have real conversations with people instead? Now Mike has convinced me it’s a great way to share your life, and I am actually pretty excited about doing it. I doubt I’ll blog everyday, but we’ll see how it goes.

I just got back from Mexico a few days ago. I had no idea this trip would seriously change my outlook on life. My life, your life, my roommate’s life (who is the best, by the way!). It’s amazing what God can do in such a short time, and how he will bring you to your knees to have you come running back to him. It’s a great feeling to know that God loves us so much, and that his mercy and grace will never cease. Just being around the Mexicans and seeing how they have so little, yet everything they have they will gladly give up was such a blessing, and such an eye-opener. How many times have I decided not to do something for someone because I felt I couldn’t afford to? Whether that is financially, emotionally, physically, whatever. Definitely made me think about some things in my life that need to be changed!
